Professor Zviad Gabisonia, Advisor to the Chancellor of Caucasus International University on Science and Innovation, and Professor George Khatidze, Dean of the Faculty of Law, held a productive meeting with representatives of the high-tech consulting firm CryptoEthica during their working visit to Estonia.
During the meeting they discussed the opportunities to enhance CIU teaching and research focus on law, particularly in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence law with Vakhtang Chkhenkeli, the founder of the company.
For the development of the practical component, a new subject will be added to the programs – “Virtual Assets Law: Blockchains and Cryptocurrency”. In addition, the parties discussed the implementation of modern high-tech electronic signatures (Mobile ID and Smart ID) in Georgia in joint research projects and the use of Estonian experience in introducing artificial intelligence in digital governance.
