The representatives of Caucasus International University participated in 2 day EUA Learning and Teaching Forum, which was held in Ruhr University, Germany, on 8-9 February. The subject of the Learning and Teaching Forum in 2024 „Learning for, in and with society“ focuses on the EUA vision for 2030, which aims at „Universities without walls“. It puts the links between university education and social responsibility in the spotlight. This very timely vision creates special demands on teaching. The Forum provided a platform for discussion on how universities enhance learning and teaching.
The forum covered such important issues as the development of teaching-learning methods and practices in the higher education space, taking into account the needs of society and involvement in society. This is extremely important in terms of innovation and quality development in the educational process.
The representatives from the University, Head of Academic Process Management Service – Tamar Inasaridze, Acting Head of The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities – Ekaterina Chalaganidze and Deputy Head of the Faculty of Law – Tamta Tsirkvadze were involved through the plenary and parallel sessions; they shared the international experience of the universities of different European countries. Within the educational programs of the Caucasus International University, such innovative practices will be gradually implemented.
