Caucasus International University actively participates in the international project: “Internationalization in International Tourism Management/Health Tourism” (HealthTour) for the second year.
The development of health tourism (wellness, spa), the so-called Gen Z Generation requirement studies and identification of the opportunities for diversifying the wellness tourism product in accordance with the interests of the Gen Z generation was implemented at the famous wellness resort of Bad Birnbach (Bavaria, Germany), based on the goals of the project, within the framework of the “Winter School”, on October 9-14.
DAAD scholarship students from Caucasus International University participated in the research: Ilia Batiashvili, Ilia Labartkava, Davit Dogonadze, Sophio Lomidze and Mariam Shulaia. They successfully coped with both research and presentation of research results to a wide audience. As a result of the research, the conclusions and recommendations developed by CIU students have received special approval from both academic and business representatives.
The students were led by the Head of Quality Assurance Service of the university, Associate Professor Marina Gedevanishvili and the Professor of the Faculty of Business and Technology, Maya Ukleba.

The project is financed by DAAD – German Academic Exchange service. The project is led by CIU partner – TID - Deggendorf Institute of Technology, Germany.
