Giorgi Pareshishvili, adviser to the rector of Caucasus International University, participated in the 27th World Congress of the International Political Science Association. Topic: “The Religious Factor of Modern Political Processes (on the example of Christianity and Islam)”.
The congress, which is held every two years in different countries, was held in Argentina this time, in partnership with the Catholic University of Argentina. Approximately 4,000 scientists and researchers from 150 countries participated in it.
It should be noted that Giorgi Pareshishvili, adviser to CIU rector, has been a member of the International Political Science Association since 2021. Within the framework of the visit, negotiations were held with political scientists from different countries and the president of the international association, Dianne Pinderhughes, on challenges in the field, joint conferences and forms of future collaboration.
The congress took place on July 15-19 and included sessions on various issues.
Please note that the International Political Science Association (IPSA) was founded in Paris in 1949 under the auspices of UNESCO. IPSA’s special mandate is to promote the development of political science in all parts of the world and to build a global political science community. It seeks to facilitate the development of cooperation between scientists.
The next World Congress will be held in Seoul (South Korea) in 2025.
