Mock bank was opened at Caucasus International University Faculty of Business and Technology on May 19. The bank is fully equipped with all the necessary technical space, which is necessary for the relevant service, including - a simulated cash register and an operator’s space.
It will be possible to implement innovative projects, discussions and various activities in active cooperation with the banking sector at the mock bank. Such approaches will help students develop the skills necessary for employment in the real banking sector.
In the future activities of the mock bank, it is important to work on such issues of remote banking such as: the use of artificial intelligence and Chat Bots; automation; digital transformation; integration with different platforms; approaches focused on data analytics; Cyber Security and Open Banking.
At the opening ceremony, the Chancellor of Caucasus International University, Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze; the Rector, Kakhaber Kordzaia; Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology, Marika Kldiashvili and Head of Quality Assurance Service, Marina Gedevanishvili addressed the guests.
Among the invited guests from the banking sector, the following made a speech: Head of the Consumer Rights Protection and Financial Education Department of the National Bank of Georgia, Lasha Gzirishvili; Expert, Davit Nikolaishvili; Head of Remote Banking Department of “Pasha Bank”, Irina Aleksishvili; Chairman of “Georgian Fintech Association”, Davit Kikvidze and HR Manager of “Ishbank Georgia”, Nino Nodia.
The event was moderated by Nana Gadelia, Head of Strategic Projects of the Faculty of Business and Technology of Caucasus International University.
