Caucasus International University hosted Georgian-German summer school on July 25.
The summer school on the topic – “European Constitutional Values and National Constitutional Legal Order” - is funded by German Academic Exchange Service and organized by partner universities.
The aim of the summer school is to share European values with students of the Faculty of Law and to discuss with them the issues related to the rule of law, democracy and human rights.
The session was opened by Professor George Khatidze, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Caucasus International University, who focused on the main topics of the school and thanked the participants for their participation in the project.
School participants attended a lecture by Professor Nini Shengelia on the topic: “Rule of Law and Digital Constitutionalism”, as well as a lecture by Professor Jan Dirk Harke of Friedrich Schiller University of Jena (Germany) on the topic: “Inheritance Right as Property Right”.
During the day, school participants had the opportunity to participate in a workshop, where they worked on practical tasks.
The summer school is held from July 24 to 29. Among the organizers are the Julius-Maximilian University of Wurzburg (Germany), the National University of Georgia - SEU and Ilia State University together with Caucasus International University.
