Caucasus International University is pleased to announce the admission of X, XI and XII grade pupils to school-educational project – Art of Debating (Learn by Playing) V season.
“We argue not for debating but a result”
Project aims at: Developing a culture of argumentative debating, critical thinking, rational use of conversation time, skills needed for searching the necessary materials or information among young people. In addition, how to use them properly, find a compromise and reconcile.

Debate Topics:
Topic I: The validity or falsity of the political decision made by Davit Aghmashenebeli regarding the resettlement of Kivchaghi;
Topic II: Only checking the integrity of judges or all state officials ensures the formation of a strong state;
Topic III: Davit Gareji’s problem and its solution trends: sides of Georgia and Azerbaijan;
Topic IV: Construction of one’s own hydroelectric powers or reliance on the electrical resources of foreign countries.
Evaluation Criteria:
Logical reasoning;
Argumentative reasoning based on knowledge of facts;
Stating one’s own position;
Negotiation techniques and the ability to conclude a beneficial agreement (communique) for the team.
Project Duration – 1 month (April);
Important Dates:
The number of participating schools is limited. 30 schools registered on the principle of attendance will have the opportunity to participate in the project. The registered school represents two students and one teacher.
After the completion of the project, each participant will be awarded a certificate.
It is led by Doctor of History, Doctor of Professional Safety, Associate Professor of Caucasus International University - Davit Kukhalashvili.
