CIU Is Pleased to Announce Admission to School-Educational Project - Develop Your Region
Caucasus International University is pleased to announce admission to the school-educational project – “Develop Your Region”.
The development of entrepreneurial competencies in Georgia is part of the education policy. That is why the goal of the project is to develop the skills of free thinking, creativity, formulating ideas and their implementation among the youth.
X, XI and XII graders of public and private schools have the right to participate in the project.
Project Format:
Generating ideas based on the community well-being;
- The registered school represents a team consisting of three pupils. One of the students will be the team leader. The number of participating schools is limited. Only 20 schools will be involved in the project;
- The project consists of three stages: training; homework assignment; final stage;
- Registered teams will be given online training at the first stage, where the following issues will be discussed: entrepreneurship, in particular, the essence and significance of small and medium entrepreneurship; What does the idea of community welfare mean? What basic competencies are needed to embark on a business; How to formulate an idea and realize it (a simple version of a business plan);
- The second stage - each team will formulate an idea and come up with ways to implement this idea;
- Within ten days, the teams must present their works (projects) via e-mail;
- The third stage - the final event, which will be held at Caucasus International University (address: #73 Chargali St., Tbilisi). At the event, we will discuss the results of the analysis and evaluation of the projects presented by the participating teams, which will have a consultative, recommendatory form.
Homework assignment (project) assessment criteria:
- Simplicity and relevance of the idea;
- An idea focused on the well-being of society;
- Creative approach to the issue, creativity;
- Cost-effectiveness (implementation of the idea with relatively small costs);
- Presentability.
Deadlines:
- 23-28 January – Registration;
- 3-4 February – Training;
- 5-11 February – Teams work on homework assignment;
- 12 February – Sending the homework via email;
- 13-17 February – Work of the Committee;
- 18 February – Final stage, closing of the project.
The project will be implemented by international trainer, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor of Caucasus International University - Rusudan Dalakishvili.
Each participant of the project will be awarded a certificate.
20 schools registered on the principle of attendance will have the opportunity to participate in the project.
