The closing event of the school-educational project – “Self-Governing Leaders 2023” was held at Caucasus International University on June 11.
Leaders and members of student self-government of public and private schools participated in the project (grades 10-12).
The aim of the project was to rethink the importance of self-government in students, as well as to develop leadership, teamwork and research skills.
60 students from the same amount of schools throughout Georgia took part in the project.
The project included three stages:
Two-day online training of the doctoral student of political science of Caucasus International University, parapsychologist Magda Kotrikadze on the topics: Communication VS Miscommunication, Parapsychology; How to Create a Quality Marketing Product;
Team homework;
Under the guidance of mentors - marketing campaign planning.

The event was opened by Kakhaber Kordzaia, Rector of Caucasus International University. The participants and guests of the project were welcomed by Baia Kvitsiani, Deputy Chair of the Education and Science Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, Irma Zavradashvili, Member of Parliament, poets Nana Tsintsadze and Ia Sulaberidze, Marina Gedevanishvili, Head of Quality Assurance Service of Caucasus International University, Nino Mindiashvili, Head of Doctorate Service and George Khatidze, Dean of the Faculty of Law.
Project leader Marine Ugulava moderated the event.
Four teams consisting of 15 members made presentations prepared with the help of mentors at the concluding event.
The teams were mentored by Caucasus International University MA/PhD students - Revaz Berulava (Postgraduate Program in Law), Soso Gazdeliani (PhD Program in Mass Communication), Giorgi Gogokhia (PhD Program in Mass Communication) and Koka Kacharava (PhD Program in Business Administration).
The project was coordinated by Nia Sadaghashvili, Public Relations Service Specialist.
The project presentations were evaluated by the committee, and the participants were awarded appropriate certificates at the end.
