The society first became familiar with Constructive Agro-journalism, a text-book in three languages within the framework of Village Builder 2018. The book contains information on agricultural research, development, production, harvesting, marketing and consumption. The book on agriculture is prepared by Caucasus International University (CIU) and Journalism Resource Center (JRC). It is important that besides Georgian, Russian and English versions of Constructive Agro Journalism, editions of the textbook in Armenian and Azeri languages will be published in the nearest future. This will significantly enhance the area of its usage.
At the concluding event organized by Journalism Resource Center, Alliance of Broadcasters and program Agro News, the structure of Agro Corporation has been discussed. It envisages creation of common space of communication with the neighboring countries of Georgia, advocacy in agriculture and collaboration.
The nominees of Village Builders 2018 have been revealed within the frame of the event.
The winners in five categories were awarded for sharing knowledge for visibility and other farmers in partner media.
