An information meeting regarding the grant competition: “Promoting the Introduction of Innovative Services in the System of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, Strengthening the Protection of Human Rights and Strengthening Legal Security” announced by the Ministry of Justice of Georgia will be held at Caucasus International University on November 20 at 13:00.
The competition envisages the following three directions:
Promoting the implementation of innovative services within the system of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia;
Reinforcing human rights protection;
Enhancing legal safety.
The aim of the grant program, taking into account the competences of the Ministry, is to implement measures to promote the introduction of innovative services in the system of the Ministry, to strengthen the protection of human rights and to reinforce legal security.
No more than 30,000 (thirty thousand) GEL will be awarded to each winning project.
A non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal entity or its branch, as well as a physical person (a citizen of Georgia, a person with a neutral identity card or a neutral travel document, as well as a legitimate resident of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia or the Tskhinvali Region (former South Ossetia Autonomous District)), a person who is registered according to the rules established by the legislation of Georgia and who has been assigned a personal number), who does business in Georgia and is interested in the goals provided by the grant program and meets the criteria established by the grant council created within the framework of this program can participate in the grant competition.
Important Dates:
• Posting the announcement of the grant competition - no later than October 20, 2023;
• The deadline for submitting the grant application is determined by the Grant Council, but no later than December 1, 2023;
• Evaluation of the grant application and posting the decision - no later than December 20, 2023;
• Signing of the grant agreement - no later than December 30, 2023
• Grant term - up to 5-9 months after signing the grant agreement.
