Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University hosts International Science and Innovation Festival 2018 to mark the 100th anniversary of the university. The festival will be opened on September 22 and will continue till October 1.
Scientific and educational activities - exhibitions, public lectures, conferences, trainings, workshops, open days, presentations of recent scientific publications and projects, outdoor activities, etc. will be organized within the framework of the festival.
The opening ceremony of Science and Innovation Festival will be held on September 22 at 12:00. The event venue is the First Building Yard of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Guests of all ages will be offered entertaining and scientific activities.
Caucasus International University will present the simulation of emergency medical care on the festival opening day. CIU representatives will demonstrate emergency medical care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and assessment of vital signs on phantoms for the interested individuals.
In addition, simulation of emergency care during various types of bleedings (bandage placing technique), determination of blood type, glucose level and other medical manipulations will be shown.
The interested individuals will be given an opportunity to act according to the instructions and participate in practical activities.
Science and Innovation Festival has been organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports since 2015.
