The closing ceremony of Student Festival 2019 was held in Tbilisi on May 16, 2019.
36 higher education institutions operating in the university cities of Georgia, including Caucasus International University participated in it.
The closing ceremony of the festival was attended by Mr. Kakha Kaladze, Tbilisi Mayor and Ms. Sophio Khuntsaria, Deputy. They awarded the winner higher education institutions.
The places were distributed as follows:
Student Festival was opened on May 6, and about 20 events in sports and culture were held in the student city organized on the Olympic Park territory during 10 days.
The festival contained competitive and non-competitive activities.
The competitive part envisaged competitions among student teams in 3 types of sports (football, basketball and volleyball) and creative performances made by student groups in 4 directions (Georgian dance, modern dance, folk songs, and pop songs).

We would like to remind you that the aim of the festival is to promote healthy lifestyle among students, diversify student life, form healthy competitive environment among students, motivate student motivation and promote their talent.
The festival is organized by Tbilisi City Hall, Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia and Association of Student Organizations of Georgia.
