Students from the Faculty of Law at Caucasus International University, upon successfully completing their educational and practical course in Forensics, have started their careers within the Expert-Forensic Main Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
Natia Javakhishvili has been appointed as the Chief Expert of the Dactyloscopic Department in the Main Forensic Division of the Expert-Forensic Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Nikoloz Otanadze has been appointed as a forensic expert at the Tbilisi Division of the Expert-Forensic Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The young professionals shared their experiences with current students of the Faculty of Law, who are currently taking a practical course in Forensics.
With the active collaborative efforts of Caucasus International University and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a forensic laboratory was established at the Faculty of Law in 2023. Since then, students have had the unique opportunity to participate in training and practical courses in forensics, led by Irakli Verulashvili, the Head of the Main Examination Department of the Expert- Forensic Main Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and Tengiz Sisauri, the Head of the Expert-Forensic Main Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Tbilisi City Division. After successfully completing the course, students undergo an internship and have the opportunity to be employed in the relevant structural unit of the Ministry.
