A public lecture on the topic “Patients' Rights and Their Legal Regulation” was organized by the Caucasus International University Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service, in collaboration with the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Medicine and the Law Alumni Clubs.
The lecture was delivered by Tatia Khabeishvili, Managing Partner of the Legal Firm “IBL Law Office”, Lawyer, Medical Law Expert and Assistant Professor.
The aim of the lecture was to inform the audience about current topics of medical law. Within the framework of the event, the following issues were discussed: patient rights, legislative innovations, the rights and duties of the physician provided by the modern regulation, the role of lawyers in protecting the patient’s rights and other topics.
The event was attended by students and graduates of CIU faculties of Medicine and Law.
The guests and the audience were welcomed by Mariam Jachvadze, the Head of Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service of Caucasus International University and Giorgi Kakubava, the President of the Faculty of Law Alumni Club at the interactive meeting.
