On April 11, a first aid training session was held for pupils within the framework of the school-educational projects at Caucasus International University.
The training was led by Teona Koshadze and Giorgi Mariamidze, students from CIU Faculty of Medicine. Participants received both theoretical and practical knowledge about effective response to emergency situations.
The pupils acquired the following skills: rapid assessment of the victim’s condition; recognition of life-threatening conditions; providing assistance in case of heart attack, bleeding, fractures and other injuries; artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques.
The project was implemented under the supervision of Marine Ugulava, Coordinator of School-Educational Projects at CIU Public Relations Service.
Please note that Caucasus International University regularly implements school-professional projects, the goal of which is to introduce students to various professional directions and raise awareness.
