On May 7, within the framework of school-educational projects, Caucasus International University hosted two events for pupils: a simulation game in the field of international relations and diplomacy “Future Leaders of the State”, and a masterclass in technology on the topic: “The First Steps into the World of Web Design”.
The project “Future Leaders of the State” aimed at developing leadership, decision-making, teamwork, and negotiation skills among the youth. Workshop participants had the opportunity to explore key political ideologies, discuss different forms of state governance and territorial organization, take on the roles of representatives of specific countries and exchange views on current issues in domestic and foreign policy.
The speakers of the event were Alika Guchua, Associate Professor, Head of the Bachelor’s Educational Program in International Relations, and Giorgi Paresishvili, Assistant and Advisor to the Rector of Caucasus International University.
During the masterclass “The First Steps into the World of Web Design”, participants were introduced to the basics of web technologies, programming languages, mobile applications, databases, blockchain technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), design and prototyping.
The masterclass was led by Professor Giorgi Kakashvili, Head of the Bachelor’s Educational Program in Information Technology at Caucasus International University.
Towards the end of the event, all participants were awarded certificates.
