The public defense of the dissertation thesis by Lia Zambakhidze, a student of the Doctoral Educational Program in Mass Communication was held at a new space of Caucasus International University Multimedia Center (CIU Panorama) on May 8, 2025. The topic of the dissertation thesis was: Forms and Means of Expression in Contemporary Television Documentary Filmmaking (The Georgian Public Broadcasting – First Channel 2018-2023).
The scientific supervisor was Nino Chalaganidze, Doctor of Journalism, Associate Professor at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Visiting Professor at Caucasus International University. The official reviewers were - Khatuna Kacharava, Doctor of Social Sciences, Professor at Caucasus International University and Revaz Chichinadze, Doctor of Social Sciences, Professor at Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University.
After the submission of the dissertation thesis and completion of the relevant procedures, Lia Zambakhidze was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Mass Communication by the decision of the Dissertation Council.
