- Data on a student’s contribution to the development of the university and its awareness raising (from September 15, 2024 to present);
Students may submit information about their academic-scientific activities and contributions to the development of the university electronically between March 12 and March 21. All submissions should be sent to the Service of Youth Affairs, Sports, and Culture at the following email: zurabi_kavtaria@ciu.edu.ge. Please note that the administration reserves the right to request original documents if the authenticity of the submitted materials is in question.
Decision on awarding scholarship will be announced no later than March 31.
Scholarship will be awarded by taking into consideration the following criteria:
- Academic performance is assessed based on the Grade Point Average (GPA) from the previous semester (at least 27 registered credits);
- Students who achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher are eligible to apply for the scholarship;
- In addition to academic results, the scholarship evaluation will also take into account the student’s involvement in student, academic, and scientific activities, as well as their contributions to the university development and efforts to raise public awareness about the university;
- Academic scholarships will be awarded based on ranking points, with a maximum of 410 points and a minimum of 350 points. The criteria for awarding points are as follows:
- The academic performance is determined by the Grade Point Average (GPA), which is then multiplied by 100. For example, a GPA of 3.70 would result in 370 points (out of a possible 400 points) when calculating the academic score.
- Student participation in student activities and contribution to University development (A maximum of 5 points) - The scholarship applicant must submit a self-report detailing their activities. The committee will assess the relevance, quality, and level of engagement for each activity, then calculate the arithmetic mean of the evaluations.
- A student’s participation in academic-scientific activities (conferences, debates, exchange projects, participation in students’ academic and scientific projects, participation in moot courts, etc.) (maximum point -5) - a scholarship applicant submits the self-report detailing the implemented activities. The committee members evaluate the activities in compliance with the quality of relevance and engagement separately and finally calculate an arithmetic mean.
