UN Young Professionals Programme (UN - YPP) is an annual recruitment initiative aiming at selecting and employing outstanding and highly qualified young professionals from all over the world to start a career at the UN. The Young Professionals Programme consists of the following stages: submission of applications, online examination held in two stages and an interview. The candidates who are successful is submitting applications, examination and interview process will be placed on a roster to fill appropriate vacancies which is valid for three years. The candidates may be selected from the roster as relevant vacancies become available across UN Secretariat.
The list of participating countries varies every year. After 2015, according to the decision of the UN, Georgia will again participate in this program this year.
Participation Criteria: an online exam will be held for the citizen of a participating country who holds a Bachelor’s degree or at least a 3-year equivalent degree relevant for the exam. A candidate has to be 32 years old or younger in the year of the examination and be fluent in either English or French.
YPP examination is held once in a year due to the needs of the UN.
