Mr. Karol Karski, Quaestor of the European Parliament and Mr. Mariusz Maszkiewicz, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland Were Conferred the Academic Title of Doctor Honoris Causa of CIU

The official ceremony for conferring the academic title of Doctor Honoris Causa was held at Caucasus International University Conference Hall on February 21. Professor Karol Karski, Doctor of International Law, Quaestor of the European Parliament (Poland) and Professor Mariusz Maszkiewicz, Doctor of Political Sciences, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Georgia were conferred the academic title of Doctor Honoris Causa of Caucasus International University for outstanding contribution to academic education and scientific research, as well as the development of the University.

The guests placed emphasis on the close relations between Georgia and Poland and noted the contribution of Caucasus International University in the academic direction between the two countries. Mr. Kakhaber Kordzaia, the University Rector, Professor Vakhtang Maisaia, Doctor of Political Sciences, and Ms. Sesili Gogiberidze, Head of Scientific Research Department greeted the guests at the event. 

Musical works and Georgian polyphonic songs were performed for the guests. The event was moderated by Nana Parinos, CIU Rector’s Assistant.
