The educational-cognitive project of Caucasus International University Multimedia Center “From Kvareli to Mtatsminda on Guram Sharadze’s Motives” was handed over to the principals of the schools in Khoni municipality.
Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, CIU Chancellor presented the cycle of films consisting of 28 documentaries to the representatives of the educational sector. Teachers will use the media resource in the process of teaching Georgian history and literature.
The meeting was attended by Lado Jurkhadze, the Mayor of Khoni Municipality and the representatives of “Khoneli” society.
Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze presented the vision of the university to the audience. As stated by the chancellor, the implementation of a similar project by the higher education institution involves development based on modern knowledge of national values.
Other educational projects of the Multimedia Center were introduced to the audience by Nino Chalaganidze, Advisor to Chancellor, Head of Multimedia Center.
Sulkhan Meladze, Deputy Head of the Multimedia Center, spoke about the purpose of creating educational and cognitive media resources and the advantages of using them in the teaching process.
At the end of the meeting, the audience watched the documentary “Date with Life”, another work of the Multimedia Center that chronologically depicts the important moments in Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze’s life. Additionally, the audience had the opportunity to learn in detail about the history, development stages and achievements of Caucasus International University
