On May 9-12, the European Youth Sambo Championship was held in Novi Sad, Serbia.
Giorgi Khuchua, a student of Caucasus International University, competed in the tournament in the 98+ weight category. He had three victories before the final, and finally won the silver medal and the title of vice champion.
