On May 27, Caucasus International University (CIU) futsal team defeated the defending champions, New Vision Georgians with the score 4:2, in the first match of the Georgian Futsal League final series held at the New Sports Palace.
Caucasus International University goals were scored by Nika Kharatishvili (a brace), Saba Machitidze, and Giorgi Chimakadze.
The second match of the series will be held on June 2. In the end, the teams will fight until they win three games, and the best among them will win the title of Georgian Futsal Champion.
