CIU Announces Paid Three-Month Internship for Librarian’s Assistant

Caucasus International University is pleased to offer a paid three-month internship for the position of Librarian's Assistant.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Informing readers about the library regulations on how to use the library resources;
• Assisting users with library materials, catalogs, electronic resources, and other collections;
• Registering new users and issuing library cards;
• Managing user requests, including searching, transferring, registering, and tracking materials, as well as compiling statistics;
• Maintaining proper order in the reading room.

Basic Qualification Requirements:

• Knowledge of the state language;
• Good command of office computer programs;
• Proficiency of English language on at least B1 level will be considered as an advantage.

Work schedule: Full time

Number of vacancies: 1

Duration of internship is 3 months - from October 1 to December 30, 2024.

Competition stages:

Shortlisting candidates based on CV and a cover letter;

Interview.

Important deadlines:

September 23 - 27 - Completion of the selective stage;

October 1 - Start of internship.
