Natia Kuprashvili, a chairperson of Journalism Resource Centre and Nino Chalaganidze, head of Caucasus International University Multimedia Centre visited Odlar Yurdu Unievrsity in order to coordinate partnership between Neighborhood Agro-Guild countries.
The meeting held in Baku was attended by Odlar Yurdu University academic personnel and local journalists. Both sides emphasized the significance of the development of agri-journalism.
During the visit they also discussed the necessity for the creation of joint information space and future activities in this direction. In particular, a joint media tour and forum on innovative approaches in agriculture is planned for September.
We would like to remind you that Journalism Resource Centre (JRC) started working on academic module Agriculture Coverage since 2014 within the framework of the project supported by MARCY CORPS, Alliance in Caucasus, Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency.
For this purpose, Caucasus International University has conducted practical seminars and training on agriculture coverage at different times. Neighborhood Agro-Guild has been formed. The latter aims to unite actors of Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine, Belarus, Azrbaijan and Moldova who work in different sectors in agriculture development in their countries.
