Caucasus International University basketball team successfully continues its struggle for 2017-2018 “A” League. After winning the first two meetings of the qualifying round, the first match of the final series was held with “Tbilisi”.
The meeting between CIU basketball team and “Tbilisi” was held with a transitional advantage, the opponent even managed to get 10 points in the third period. However, the basketball players trained by Levan Tkeshelashvili played convincingly and beat “Tbilisi” with a 10-point advantage. The final score of the final series was 85:75.
American Rayan Aaron showed the best result – 28 points among Caucasus International University team player. In addition, Vasil Kutaladze should also be distinguished with 15 points and 15 rebounds.
