Intellectual Game – Quiz-Contest

Statute

Themes: “Women Who Changed the World” (Margaret Thatcher, Elizabeth II, Indira Gandhi).  

The game is organized for Tbilisi, Mtskheta, Rustavi, Gardabani public and private schools.

School administration of the student group (3 main players and 1 reserve) willing to participate in the contest must submit an application. The team must have a captain.

Registration Deadlines

18-25 December, 2017.

Application

The application should contain information about a captain and players (name, surname, city//village, school, class, telephone number, email); in addition, contact information (mobile, email) of a head master and a head teacher should be indicated.

Quiz-Contest

Rules:

• A team has to answer 10 questions during the first half of the game; a player selected by a captain or captains has to answer 5 questions during the second half of the game;
• 1 minute is allotted for each question;
• The team captain has to respond as soon as time expires;
• Late responses will not be considered;
• If the main part of the game ends with draw, additional questions will be asked until providing a correct answer;
• Only the team captain has right to appeal answers;
• Decisions on disputable issues are taken by the committee;
• No additional materials can be used;
• A player can be substituted by a reserve during the game before a questions is asked;
• Another substitute is not allowed;
• The decision of the committee is final.

The game will be held at Caucasus International University.
