A practical seminar “Role of Festivals in the Development of Tourism” was held for Caucasus International University first and second year students of the BA Program in Tourism, faculty of Business at Porakishvilis Hall in relation to the city festival.
Promoting intangible cultural heritage resources, popularization of Georgia as a unique civilization and culture - these are the main issues and topics that students discussed with program supervisor Lali Mikeladze.
Within the framework of the field lecture, students visited Abanotubani, museum situated on the territory of 40 Saint Sebastian Martyrs monastery and The Lower Bethlemi Church.
The students later moved to Rike Square and celebrated Tbilisoba festival on Europe square together with the representatives of partner cities.
