23 higher educational institutions from Georgia participate in “Tbilisi Students Olympiad 2015” and Caucasus International University is among them.
The Olympiad promotes healthy lifestyle, engagement of the youth in students life and increasing interest towards educational and sports activities.
Tbilisi Mayor, Davit Narmania addressed students together with other presenters at the opening ceremony of “Tbilisi Students Olympiad 2015”.
Various universities and groups performed at the opening ceremony. Singer Tika Iremashvili, a student of Caucasus International University Faculty of Social Sciences, program in Journalism performed on behalf of CIU with the song “Freedom”. The event was attended by nearly 150 students from CIU.
“Tbilisi Students Olympiad 2015” offers sports activities in the following disciplines: mini football, street basketball, volley ball and table tennis. In addition, students will have an opportunity to attend public lectures on the topic of drug addiction within the framework of the Olympiad.
Caucasus International University students are engaged in every sports activity of the Olympiad in order to promote healthy lifestyle. They are ready to fight for the victory from 6 to 24 December.
