Representatives of Iraqi Embassy to Georgia paid a visit to Caucasus International University on 9 December. The meeting was attended by Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, Chancellor, Professor Kakhaber Kordzaia, Rector and Marina Gedevanishvili, Head of Quality Assurance Service and Vice-Rector.
Acting Ambassador of Iraq to Georgia, Hussain Taan handled the draft of the agreement to the university representatives, which will be later signed between the university and the Ministry of Education of Iraq. It envisages accreditation of CIU programs in the Republic of Iraq.
During the meeting both sides discussed conditions, study programs, student academic records in details and set future plans.
Within the framework of the meeting, CIU representatives introduced educational base of different faculties and laboratories to guests.
