Caucasus International University hosted Third International Conference for Baccalaureate and Master’s degree students as well as Doctoral candidates. The conference aimed at: facilitating the development of joint academic environment between Georgian and international higher educational institutions; forming scientific connections between students from different countries and developing affective professional relationship; stimulating scientific activities of BA, MA and PhD students; mutual collaboration between students; sharing knowledge and experience; establishing connections between students and academic staff and promoting interpersonal relations; connecting research work of higher educational institutions to market demands. 6 main breakup groups were functioning at the conference. A new research field – Iranian studies was added to the traditional themes of journalism, international relations, law, medicine and business. Students participating in Iranian Studies section made interesting presentations and the cultural attaché of Islamic Republic of Iran awarded them. Approximately 200 BA, MA and PhD students have participated, including 20 international participants. Towards the end of the conference Kakhaber Kordzaia, Rector of Caucasus International University and faculty deans awarded participants certificates.
