A round-table discussion on the topic: The Role of Georgia in NATO Peacekeeping Missions will be held on November 24, at 15:00. The event will be organized by The International Relations and Politics Students Club at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Caucasus International University.

Within the framework of the meeting the following issues will be discussed:

• Where were the peace missions of Georgia carried out?
• What missions is the country currently involved in?
• What is the significance of the country’s engagement in international peace missions?
• How effective are these missions for global security?
• To what extent are international peacekeeping missions used by specific states for their own interests?

Keynote speaker: Vakhtang Kapanadze, Doctor of Military Sciences, Major-General (retired), former head of the General Staff.

Professors of the Faculty of Social Sciences and students of the International Relations Program will participate in the round-table discussion.
