The 18th International Scientific Conference on Global Studies was held on December 18-22 in Athens, Greece. The conference is organized by Athens Institute and the World Association of Academics and Researchers, which brings together 2,000 scientists from 40 countries. Giorgi Pareshishvili, Advisor to the Rector, a lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities participated in the conference on behalf and with the support of Caucasus International University. He made a presentation and reviewed the Contemporary Situation of Historical Religions in Georgia.
It is worth noting that the presentation provoked great interest and Athens Institute expressed the desire and willingness to translate the work into Greek and publish it in the high ranking scientific journals of Greece. Giorgi Pareshishvili also met with the President of the Athens Institute, Professor Gregory T. Papanikos, who expressed his desire for further cooperation and invited him to a scientific symposium scheduled for May 26-29, 2025. The event will cover the issues of religions and theology. About 70 scientists from 25 countries participated in the international conference.
