An event in recognition of International Diabetes Day will be held in collaboration with Caucasus International University and Caucasus Medical Center;
With the participation of CIU students, free blood sugar testing will be available for all visitors to Caucasus Medical Center on International Diabetes Day. Testing stations will be set up at designated points throughout the center;
Additionally, a public lecture on the topic: Current Issues in the Diagnosis and Prevention of Diabetes will be held, offering valuable insights into diabetes management and preventive measures.

Diabetes is among the most prevalent chronic metabolic diseases globally, characterized by elevated blood glucose levels. Supported by the World Health Organization and numerous other organizations, World Diabetes Day is celebrated each year on November 14.
About the speaker:
Nino Tedoradze heads the Endocrinology Department at Caucasus Medical Center and is as an invited lecturer in Endocrinology at Davit Tvildian Medical University. With extensive experience in the medical field, she is a co-author of several national guidelines and an active member of prestigious organizations, including the European Society of Endocrinology (ESE), ESE Association of Young Endocrinologists and Scientists, the European Thyroid Association (ETA), the American Endocrinology Association (ES), and the Georgian Association of Endocrinology and Metabolism (GAEM). Nino regularly participates in both international and local conferences, where she frequently delivers presentations for students and medical professionals alike.
