Transfer Placement under Bachelor’s Degree Programs
1. General Information
During one academic year, Caucasus International University announces transfer placements twice a year (by the beginning of each semester) for successful students of accredited higher education institutions to be transferred to Caucasus International University, especially for students who are needed to be transferred and receive higher education knowledge.
Students with academic excellence will get scholarships.
Maximum number of placements will be determined by current conditions in a specific semester:
How to participate in a competition for the transfer placement?
In order to become eligible for participation in transfer placement competition, a student in a timely manner should register on a web-page of National Educational Accreditation Center.
On the web page of National Educational Accreditation Center are reflected current transfer placements registered by higher education institutions according to faculties/ or/and higher education programs.
Students have the right of choosing 5 universities; priorities are given to the top one listed in sequence.
After finishing the registration, in case of given transfer permission by National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement the students will have opportunity to continue studying at “Caucasus International University”.
2. What should I know about the competition?
Students can participate in the competition in case of being successful ones of accredited higher education institutions and meet the following requirements:
Completion of 1 academic year at least;
The same level of study (Bachelor to Bachelor’s degree program, Master to Master’s degree program);
Compliance of received credits will be evaluated by a relevant commission;
According to the acceptance of credits there will be determined a grade the student will be placed.
If a number of competing students exceeds available transfer placements, the final selection will be carried out by an additional competition.
3. How many times does the University announce transfer placements per one year?
The transfer placement is available at University twice a year – beginning from autumn and spring semesters under the terms set by the National Educational Accreditation Center just in case the university has available placements for outside students.
4.How possible is internal transfer placement?
University students have the right of changing faculty /or specialty in the limits of internal transfer placement.
5. What kind of documentations are required?
Before enrollment
Extract from a student’s card of a previous education institution approved by an official stamp;
Reference of a student status approved by an official stamp;
A copy of secondary education certificate;
A copy of a certificate issued by the National Examination Center;
A copy of an enrollment statement of a previous educational institution;
Extract from a statement of a previous university enrollment;
Extract from a statement proving completion of semesters (i.e. completing one to move to the following one);
A copy of ID card;
A statement addressed to the Rector of University
After enrollment
Original version of a Diploma;
Original version of a certificate issued by the National Examination Center;
Personal record/file of the student

6. The Open day
The university will announce the open day before the beginning of each academic year and after students’ registration at National Examination Center.
7. Ask for information
Full information about the transfer placements will be provided by the educational department of “Caucasus International University”.
8. How to pay the tuition fee?
Students, enrolled in the limits of transfer placements, pay the tuition fee per semester under the terms set by administrational registration.
Transfer placements for Master’s Degree programs
1. General Information
How to participate in a competition for the transfer placement

On the web page of National Educational Accreditation Center are reflected current transfer placements registered by higher education institutions according to faculties/ or/and high educational programs.

After finishing the registration successfully, the students will participate in a competition announced by “Caucasus International University”, the results of which will determine whether or not the students are granted the authorization for transfer placements from other educational institutions.

Extract from a student’s card issued by the previous educational institution;
A copy of a diploma of Bachelor’s degree program with an attachment;
A copy of the certificate of Graduate Record Examination for Georgian citizens;
Transcript of academic studies according to Master’s Degree program;
A statement addressed to the Rector of University.

A copy of military recruits (for Georgian male citizens)
